The mulberry with the scientific name Morus alba was first grown in China.  But now this fruit, which is sweet in taste, is grown in different temperate regions around the world. It is found in different areas in red, black and blue colors.  All of them have the best taste of American mulberry and black mulberry.  The leaves of the mulberry tree are the only food source for silkworms.  It is rich in various nutrients like iron, riboflavin, vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, phosphorus and calcium etc.  In addition, it also contains dietary fiber and organic compounds such as rivastratol, anthocyanin, lutein and many other polyphenolic compounds.  Mulberry also has other advantages and disadvantages.
